RX Industries is the Palmetto State's first CNC shop powered by the ProShop ERP MES QMS system. We specialize in close tolerance, multi-axis CNC machining for the Space, Military and Aerospace industries. Our CNC equipment consists of new, DMG-Mori 5-axis mills and turn/mill lathes with 9-axes of machining capability. New Tsugami Swiss machining centers with 5 axis capabilities and we have invested in palletized automatic production and robotic loading/unloading for unattended machining. RX Industries has a 2020 Zeiss CMM for Quality Control, running Calypso software. We use Esprit CAM and SolidWorks CAD. We are ITAR registered, CMMC Level 2 Compliant, We are ISO9001 Certified and AS9100 compliant and carry 06, 07 & SOT FFL licensure.

I had an incredible time attending the 2024 International Air Show in Farnborough, England, near London for RX Industries. The South Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership, in collaboration with the South Carolina Department of Commerce, truly excels in promoting the manufacturing sector in SC. Not only are they a fantastic group of professionals, but they also fostered valuable connections with both US and international clients, making the experience enjoyable and engaging. Thank you for a memorable event! Aerospace in SC is undoubtedly in great hands!

I know this isn't a big deal to most people, but I think there's something like, "Tell me you're a good company to work for and do business with without telling me you're a good company to work for a do business with" about these two, rather boring photos: One shows off the new floor we had put down today in our shipping/receiving area. It's not epoxy, it's polyurea with a nice grey and blue flake. Hats off to Innovative Concrete, LLC for their third project at RX Industries - fantastic people to work with and highly reliable! The second picture is the near-complete construction of our new employee break area. Once done, we'll have a refrigerator and stove in place, new carpeting and a TV/lounge area where the gamers can game and we can all hang out away from the sounds of making chips. After all, what else are really in business for if not for taking care of others?

Good positioning can mean making it clear what you are NOT. I found this poster in the ski lodge I’m staying at this week. And if you’re not familiar with the Colorado ski scene, Vail has a reputation for catering to people who place just as much value on luxury retail and 5 star dining as the skiing itself. Crested Butte has a different reputation. It’s a place where you can hang out, relax, have a beer, and enjoy some of the best skiing in the world. Where you don’t have to worry about how much to tip the valet. The poster makes it clear who Crested Butte is for and who it’s not for. Which is exactly what good positioning should achieve. === P.S. Notice the use of language. Crested Butte doesn’t claim to be better than Vail. Just different.

As a business owner, you know where all the thorns in the garden are - a lot of LinkedIn posts are "self help" or solicitations to help you run your business better or solve whatever problems you're having. And we need that. But today, I'm here to talk about the garden - the fragrances and the flowers and the yield of juicy produce; the comradery of the team and the admiration of skills you don't have and are in awe of every day. Do you take it in? Do you truly see the joy in the team? Are you humbled by the fact that THOSE AWESOME people made a decision to work with you?? Are you really super proud of their accomplishments in and out of the shop? I am so thankful for those who have helped me get here - those companies for whom I worked who gave me another skill set to use, those people who believe in what we're doing and provide resources and encouragement. I'm so thankful for the mighty employees at RX Industries - so smart and industrious; so caring and imaginative; so skilled and talented!! Watching our team come together and ply the trade...it's awesome. Work really is noble, it's really honorable to see men and women use their smarts with tremendously positive attitudes!! Blessed indeed. Blessed indeed.
