    G’mar Chatima Tova to all who observe Yom Kippur.    Yom Kippur, which translates to “Day of Atonement,” is the holiest day of the Jewish year. It’s a time to focus on your actions from the past year. While it is common practice to avoid eating and drinking for the day while you reflect, Yom Kippur is a deeply personal holiday—and everybody observes it how they see fit.     This #HispanicHeritageMonth and every month, we are proud to support the Hispanic and LatinX communities—and today we’re spotlighting Laura Quiñones and Ana Vicéns as they share what their Puerto Rican culture, traditions, and history mean to them. Hispanic Heritage Month begins on September 15th every year and runs until October 15th. This month-long celebration honors the contributions of Hispanic and #LatinX communities and begins on a day when many Central American countries celebrate their independence, including Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua.     National Hispanic Heritage Month became an official month-long holiday in 1989 and has been celebrated that way ever since.
