We are delighted to announce that S&B USA Concessions, in partnership with Macquarie Group/Macquarie Capital Partners, has been shortlisted for the Best Road, Bridge, or Tunnel from the P3 Awards for the Major Bridge P3 project!  This project represents big strides in the P3 industry and stands out in many ways including:  • It is the first transportation-related P3 to close utilizing a PDA structure. The PDA enabled the team to work collaboratively with PennDOT to identify key risks, work on permits, and led to significant progress on the project's design, providing certainty around schedule and costs. • The transaction represented the largest-ever issuance of surface transportation PABs in the municipal market. • The selected bridges are essential to Pennsylvania’s intra and interstate transportation system in need of replacement and contemporary safety designs. • It is an excellent example of how the public and private sector can partner to deliver critical infrastructure projects faster and more efficiently than other alternative procurement processes. • This project closed in a compressed seven-month period despite a two-month period of suspension of work. The awards ceremony will be held in October, and we look forward to attending! Thank you to our dedicated team and partners for making this possible. 

!Milestone Reached! In August, ASN Constructors reached and surpassed the halfway point of excavating 45 million cubic yards of earth for the stormwater diversion channel! "ASN Constructors is proud of the work we are doing for the communities we live and work in and this milestone brings all of us one step closer to permanent, reliable flood protection," shares Pedro Martinez, ASN project director. "Work has been ongoing day and night, nearly 365 days a year, to get to this point and we are committed to continuing our work to finish the channel and associated structures." Exciting Milestone Reached!   The FM Area Diversion Project has officially surpassed the halfway mark in excavating the 30-mile-long stormwater diversion channel! 🚧 This monumental task, which is crucial for protecting the Fargo-Moorhead metro area from significant flooding, is being executed by ASN Constructors as part of the Red River Valley Alliance (RRVA). ASN Constructors, a joint venture composed of S&B USA Construction, Acciona, and North American Construction Group, is responsible for the construction work. Meanwhile, S&B USA Concessions, along with the other companies, is a key participant in the broader RRVA partnership.   To date, ASN Constructors has moved an incredible 23.5 million cubic yards of earth—enough to build seven-and-a-half replicas of the Great Pyramid of Giza! 🏜️   This achievement reflects the relentless dedication of our teams, who have been working around the clock, nearly 365 days a year, to ensure the safety and resilience of our community. In almost 13 years full-time in #P3 #transportation and #alternativedelivery, I've noticed that our industry rarely lauds projects that are mid-build or operating well. In many ways, the strongest evidence that the business case for the deal was a good one is that no one notices. Maybe that says a lot about us, but I digress.... Well, here's one that is a good one and going well, and I think I'm going to start pointing to them out a bit more frequently. Good project, great #publicowner in Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), devoted (and really cool) public servants in PennDOT's implementation team, and a great #concessionaire team comprised of all of the same stuff, led by the Macquarie Group and S&B USA Concessions.
