After Maximillian Wagoner spent his summer with SAIM in 2023, he was eager to join the team full time after graduation. We’re excited to welcome him back as a Project Manager to guide new clients through the technology deployment process and help existing clients get the most out of the insights and data that SAIM provides. We asked Max some rapid-fire questions, and here’s what he said: 1. In five words or less, how would you describe SAIM? Technology for better asset management. 2. Tell us about your educational background or experience leading up to your current position with SAIM. I worked at SAIM as a Client Success Manager intern during the summer of 2023 where I learned from Shelby Robbe and Evan Tinker. During my internship, I visited airports across the country to help deploy SAIM. I graduated from the University of Missouri in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in engineering. 3. What are you most looking forward to as you start your journey with SAIM in 2024? I am looking forward to working with new people as well as those I met during my internship. I am also excited to travel to new locations as SAIM expands across the country. 4. What is the best career or life lesson you've learned so far? A great lesson I learned is the importance of adaptability. Embracing change and being open to new ideas allows us to grow professionally and personally.

It’s time for a SAIM Team Snapshot! 📷 Let’s get to know Trey Breshears, our Jr. Project Manager for IoT. A former back-to-back intern, Trey joined us in a full-time capacity after graduating with a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology in May 2024. 1. What is your personal mantra or favorite quote? “Never give up – never surrender!” – Peter Quincy Taggart 2. You've spent several summers with Argus and SAIM as an intern. What made you choose SAIM as the place to start your professional career? I chose SAIM because of the small-company culture and the variety in the day-to-day work that comes with that. Being able to walk on with previous knowledge of how our system works will allow me to hit the ground running. 3. What does your new role at SAIM entail? In my role as Junior Project Manager - IoT, I'll be managing the deployment of SAIM's monitoring package, as well as working on ways to standardize and improve the processes around it. 4. How is SAIM supporting the Argus Companies' vision of being the most trusted partner in fuels? The data collected by the real-time signals module will be able to help with proactive and predictive maintenance on the fuel systems. The ability to know when an asset is at risk and needs to be maintained is a very new concept in this field, and I'm excited to be on the front end of that. 5. What's a fun fact about you? I'm a commercially certified drone pilot and run a small aerial media business to support my hobby. See my work at foxtrot-photos.com.
