"Our relationship to food is so deep. We do it every day...3x a day. It is so representative of how much we love ourselves and what we think of ourselves..and what we put on our plate is so important. Your food informs your biochemical pathways." Danielle DuBoise is the Co-Founder of Sakara Life. She's also the  best-selling author of the cookbook EAT CLEAN PLAY DIRTY and co-host of the Sakara Life Podcast. With a Masters of Science in Functional Medicine and Human Nutrition, Danielle combines her expertise in science-backed nutrition with her passion for holistic wellness to inspire others to nourish their bodies and live their most vibrant lives. Bootstrapped from $700, Sakara Life was born from Danielle's own health issues.  DuBoise and her co-founder Whitney Tingle combined modern western medicine with ancient eastern healing techniques in an effort to cure their decades-long health issues. Once they healed themselves and created Sakara’s 9 Proprietary Pillars of Nutrition, they began cooking meals in their shared 500 sq. ft. New York City apartment and hired skateboarders to help them hand-deliver meals at sunrise. On this week's podcast, Danielle joins me to share her fascinating journey to build Sakara Life as well as her own wellness practices and her thoughts on the future of the wellness industry. DuBoise has been honored in Forbes' 30 under 30, Oprah's SuperSoul 100, Goldman Sachs ‘Most Interesting Entrepreneurs’ and MindBodyGreen's 100 Women in Wellness. Thank you Danielle for this nourishing conversation! If only we were dining at La Mercerie in NYC....(Danielle's favorite) You can listen to our conversation at www.apple.co/2F2CCAJ

  • "Next time I need a reset, I know where I am turning," wrote Town & Country's Roxanne Adamiyatt after trying the new Sakara Level II: Detox. The team at Town & Country prides themselves on their discerning eye for quality—and so do we. Sakara uses highest-quality ingredients, rigorous third-party testing, and stringent production standards in everything we create. "The best way to describe it was not so much a detox meal plan, but rather a week designed to give the systems of my body a much needed rest, without having to completely withdraw from every day life." Thank you to the team at Town & Country for naming our nutrition program a Tried & True. Read the full review: https://lnkd.in/eCtVSZPh

  • Last week, we celebrated something years in the making: the launch of our newest Sakara Supplements. To celebrate, we threw a party as chic as our new supplements are effective. From Daily Elixir shots to meaningful conversations to dancing the night away with a Night Service nightcap in hand, the evening was a true embodiment of what Sakara is all about: connection, joy, and deep nourishment. Thank you to everyone who joined us and celebrated our newest products. We’re beyond excited to see how these new rituals become part of your daily lives.

  • The new Sakara Supplements are officially en Vogue. In the words of Founder Danielle DuBoise, "What really upsets me is when people are trying to do something good for themselves and their bodies, and they try to take a supplement and the company has secretly filled it with sh*t." That's why Sakara Supplements were developed with the highest-quality ingredients, rigorous third-party testing, and stringent production standards. Here’s to less noise, better nutrition. And the highest-quality ingredients always. https://lnkd.in/eAMcQNSd

I am incredibly excited about what we are building at Sakara. Today is a key moment as we launch our new Supplements line. These products contain the highest quality, most bioavailable plant-derived ingredients, formulated in the most efficacious doses and delivered in packaging that is designed to fit your lifestyle. Wellness should be a conscious and mindful activity. We too often let our watches tell us how we feel rather than engaging in the process. We want to make feeling good, feel good. https://lnkd.in/d-3hY99U

At Sakara we are all about whole body wellness, and it is well known that our personal passions or pursuits outside of daytime jobs play an essential role in our overall wellbeing. They are key to supporting physical, mental, emotional, and social health. Our personal passions outside of work often are what allow us to be so effective in the workplace too. For Sakara CEO, Henry Davis, music has always been a passion. Henry caught up with WWD's Noor Lobad to share how his background as a musician fuels his approach to leadership, infusing Sakara with a creative spirit that drives bold ideas and meaningful innovation. Henry shares that "Music is so humbling....There's always something more you can learn, something you can be better at. I've found it to be a great tool in both keeping me learning, but also staying humble about the need to learn." Check out the story in the comments and tell us your personal passions. How do you spend time outside work?

  • Thank you Tony Robbins for inviting Sakara founders Danielle DuBoise and Whitney Tingle to join your Business Mastery Event last week. Danielle and Whitney took the stage to share their journey building Sakara and the values fueling our mission to nourish whole body wellness with 2,500 entrepreneurs. One key takeaway: The mind-body connection is real! Tony’s philosophy of energizing the body to empower the mind aligns with Sakara’s belief that nourishing your whole body unlocks your highest potential. Here’s to this year being one of movement, inspiration, and connection for Sakara and our incredible community.
