I’m still processing the sheer compassion and extraordinary generosity demonstrated yesterday. The response was overwhelming! Yesterday our community came together to help our neighbors in need. We even had some entertainment! My heart is filled with gratitude—Wheeler Media Group and Brett Sharp John Carlin and all the talent from all the radio stations, WDBJ7 and WSLS 10 —we could not have had the impact and response without your engagement. Wendy Delano and Salem Civic Center were incredible —allowing us to take over the parking lot for drop offs. Ridge View Bank volunteers were out all day with us unloading the donations. Carrie McConnell you have an incredible team. Feeding Southwest Virginia I am amazed with the work you do. Yesterday was a lot—and that is just a day in the life for you. Thank you for all the good you do. It is hard work but fulfilling work. My car is jam packed with baby supplies.
