About us
Salvies Who Lunch (SWL) was founded by Cynthia Gonzalez in January of 2018, out of passion to see a positive representation of the Salvadoran community. SWL is a platform dedicated to connecting and empowering Salvadorans of all backgrounds through events. Our signature event ¡Chévere! brings together business professionals, artists, influencers, entrepreneurs and community to network as we celebrate Salvadoran culture. As the third largest Latinx group in the U.S., Salvadorans are still not represented in media, film, and books. SWL seeks to amplify the Salvadoran voices in a positive light and establish an elite network of like-minded souls through intersectional narratives and events. Some of our past partners include: LA Times, Pepsi, Macy's, Telemundo, LA LGBT Center, AltaMed, Thrivent, KIIS FM, Fernando Llort Foundation, Lil' Libros, Angel City FC and many others.
