Breast Cancer Awareness here at SMACE! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and this year, 2024, the World Breast Cancer theme is ”No-one should face breast cancer alone”. This theme highlights the importance of patient-centered care, including medical, emotional, psychological, and social support through patient navigation systems, while addressing gender and socioeconomic disparities in access to breast cancer care.
