We do this by supporting companies, startups, and local professionals in reaching success, building interconnections and knowledge within our ecosystem, and enhancing the visibility of local tech companies in the wider community. Santa Cruz Works is a California 501(c)(6) nonprofit mutual benefit corporation, and its objectives and direction are managed by a board drawn from emerging tech companies, local government, academia and the investment community. The initiative marks the coming together of private and public sector efforts to showcase the growing science and technology community in Santa Cruz County.
