Are Selenium and Java really on their way out? Check out the latest from Test Case Scenario and the three reasons why these tools aren't going anywhere any time soon 😉 👇

Is Selenium really on its way out? (You probably know our answer). Allen Loew from Progressive Leasing explains why predictions about the end of tools like Selenium and Java are premature. Just because new technologies emerge doesn’t mean the old ones are obsolete. Here’s why these tools still matter: Proven Track Record: Like Java, Selenium continues to be a reliable tool in the testing world. Adaptability: Despite new frameworks, tools like Selenium can evolve to meet current needs. Long-Term Stability: Both Java and Selenium have a solid foundation, and they aren't going away any time soon.

Are you building noteworthy digital experiences - actively earning customer loyalty - or are your users forced to stay because they have no choice? 🤔 Check out the latest Test Case Scenario episode below and our 'Quality Software Checklist' to help build quality customer experiences this holiday season: https://lnkd.in/ep5Wq35k

As we approach the holiday season, remember that your testing choices impact customer relationships. Marcus Merrell shares a story about a teammate being unable to pay a simple bridge toll online—Safari, Chrome, incognito mode, nothing worked. No chat support, no phone number. His only option? Wait for a collection letter to arrive in the mail. That’s so frustrating. But what stands out most is the bigger question:  Are your users forced to stay because they have no choice, or are you actively earning their loyalty by providing a seamless, supportive experience? Automation vs. manual testing isn’t just about tech. It’s about the kind of relationship you build with your customers. Tune in to the latest episode of the Sauce Labs podcast, Test Case Scenario, to learn more. Links in comments.

Mature automation shouldn't be siloed and left to rot, sitting in its own pipeline. This creates distrust and lowers its value. Take full advantage of automation by improving the trust around it in the first place! Learn more on the latest episode from The Test Automation Experience below:

A great sign of mature automation is when other teams are using it, especially when it’s part of the shared CICD pipeline with developers. If your automation is siloed in its own pipeline, it may not yet be trusted or valued by the larger team. 3 Tips to Strengthen Trust in Your Automation: 💡 Integrate automation into the main CICD pipeline for cross-team collaboration. 💡 Work towards a common tech stack and shared goals across teams. 💡 Ensure automation aligns with business outcomes—better software, more efficiency, and driving revenue.
