Buying courses didn’t level me up as much as I thought it would. Instead, I found one thing that has helped me succeed more than any course ever could. It’s this: Surround yourself with people who are better than you. I did this as an SDR. I found the best SDR, and I learned from them. I did this as a closer. I found the best closer, learned from them, did what they did, and succeeded. Find people who are better than you. Ask them for help. Be willing to be coached. Be willing to be wrong so that you can be right later on. Find that mentor. Stick with them. Grow. Improve. Succeed. Your success is your own. But you don’t have to get to success on your own. Learn from others. Let them teach you how to avoid mistakes they’ve made. Doing that will catapult you into a position you never thought possible. That’s what happened to me. #personalgrowth #mentorship #successmindset

The world of Sales Development is generally dominated by extroverts. So making the choice to become an SDR as an introvert or someone who suffers from anxiety is a big deal! So if you’ve made it that far, congratulations! And if you’ve made it to the end of this blog, you’re taking steps to learn how to overcome your natural inclinations in order to become an amazing SDR. #Alleyoop #TheUltimateAssist https://lnkd.in/eEFq5Amk

Prospective clients come to us believing the phone is “dead.” It’s not. Here’s what we produced last quarter in calls: 620,981 Dials  10.28% connect rate (across ALL verticals) 31.61% Conversation Rate 9.09% Hot Lead Rate Give me another outbound channel that offers powerful metrics like that across all verticals. Email used to. But not currently. If you’re considering an email-only service or approach - ask yourself why. Do you lack the resources to execute on the phone? Is your brand awareness/equity strong in the market? Is it because you personally don’t like phone or email just feels easier? Are your target client profile and their pain points 100% dialed in? I’m not saying email doesn’t provide value. I’m simply saying that most don’t consider its strategic place. In most cases (and our figures validate this), the phone is where our appointments come from for our clients. If you need wins now, you can’t rely on email-only approaches. If you’re still learning about the market response to your value proposition or defining your target market, It’s typically too passive. Think about your own inbox - do you respond to or even read every cold email that comes in? Probably Not Does that mean you aren’t interested or aren’t a good fit for those services? Maybe. Does it mean that you were too busy or got distracted? Maybe. What do you learn from an email that didn’t get a response - hard to say, right? You have to have a multi-channel approach led by the phones. Phones will remain the top outbound approach to getting someone's attention and quickly learning how to optimize and refine messaging. It’s not going anywhere. You just need a team who knows how to handle the phones. That’s us at Alleyoop. #coldcalling #salesstrategy #outboundsales

CEO of Alleyoop.io 🏀🙌 → We execute 11,000,000 Revenue Generating Activities annually ☎️📧 → We create custom content that converts 🎥 🎙️ → We train SDRs how to turn their words into pipeline 📣💰

Do you know why your cold calls aren’t working? You’re assuming. You know what they say about assumptions, right? Who wants to book a meeting with an ass? No one. So stop assuming. How? By using AI. Pull up their profile before you dial a contact, and use AI to enrich the information. When you cater your pitch to relevant and correct information, it resonates with your prospective client. You’re coming from a place of knowledge instead of assumption. Will this work with everyone you cold call? No. Cold calling is a numbers game. Not everyone will give you a shot to chat with them. For those prospects that give you a shot, be prepared. Know what topics to bring up and what questions to ask. If you do, you’re getting that appointment most of the time. Stop the assumptions. Start coming from a place of knowledge. 😎 Do hard things. ♻️ Repost if this resonated. 🔔 Follow me for more. 💬 I respond to all DMs. #ColdCalling #SalesStrategy #AIinSales

Growth Director// Imagine your sales team wakes up Monday morning, opens up their laptops, and their calendars are already fully booked with demos! That’s Alleyoop - The Ultimate Assist. We Prospect, You Profit. ☎️+🏀=💰

I’ve been shark diving off the coast of South Africa. It sounds cool. It was cool. But it was terrifying. I’ve been scuba diving off the coast of Australia. It sounds beautiful. It was beautiful. But I felt claustrophobic. I have no interest in hiking Mt. Everest. (I don’t even want to hike in my backyard here in Colorado 😂) There’s a time to try new things. There’s also a time to say no to new things. Pick and choose your time investment for new things. People say, “Try everything once.”... No thanks, not climbing Everest. Not for me! Choose the new things that help you grow in the areas YOU want to grow in.

You can’t always predict leadership in interviews, but you can spot grit. For example, one candidate we interviewed took the initiative to schedule appointments with our Growth Managers to better understand how Alleyoop operates. That’s the kind of determination we value here. They didn’t wait for instructions to stand out—they actively sought opportunities to distinguish themselves during the interview process. This is the mindset we seek in an SDR: someone who is eager to demonstrate their commitment, not just talk about it. Do you think grit is important for a salesperson to have? #gritinsales #salesleadership #alleyoopcareers
