About us
SBA Communications Corporation is a leading independent owner and operator of wireless communications infrastructure including towers, buildings, rooftops, distributed antenna systems (DAS) and small cells. With a portfolio of high-quality and exclusive communications sites throughout the Americas, Africa and in Asia, SBA is listed on NASDAQ under the symbol SBAC. SBA is part of the S&P 500 Index and is one of the top Real Estate Investment Trusts based on market capitalization. An industry leader with more than 35 years of experience and expertise, SBA has participated in the creation of the shared infrastructure model for carriers that helped to facilitate the expansion of the mobile industry. Our commitment to Building Better Wireless® includes: • Leasing antenna space on our multi-tenant towers and other structures to a variety of wireless service providers under long-term lease contracts. We build our towers at the request of wireless carriers, leveraging our in-house experience in site acquisition, zoning and construction. • Assisting wireless service providers and operators in developing their own networks through site acquisition, zoning, construction and equipment installation. • Working with property owners to strategically develop and monetize the wireless infrastructure potential of their real estate assets. SBA also currently manages communication site locations on behalf of third-party landlords. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. October is off to a strong start with volunteer activities through our SBA Cares philanthropic program. We are so proud of our team members’ commitment to #ChangeLives in the communities we serve. In Guatemala, team members celebrated Children’s Day with Asociación Humana ONG by serving meals and taking part in engaging activities alongside the individuals the organization supports. At Big Dog Ranch in Loxahatchee Groves, Florida, volunteers from our Asset Optimization department pitched in to help clean the facility and care for the organization’s adoptable dogs. Meanwhile, in Georgia, our Site Development Services team helped organize food donations and assembled toiletry bags for those in need at North Fulton Community Charities. Finally, team members from Site Development Services supported the North Texas Food Bank at an event hosted by the State Fair of Texas by collecting canned goods and distributing vouchers to the needy. #SBACares

Volunteers from SBA supported three worthy nonprofits this September through our #SBACares philanthropic program. In North Carolina, our Site Development Services team volunteered with the Charlotte Rescue Mission, serving lunch to those in the nonprofit’s residential recovery program. At Gumbo Limbo Nature Center in Boca Raton, team members from our International department pitched in for a beach cleanup. Boca Helping Hands hosted volunteers from our New Tower Builds department who helped fill pantry bags with fresh food and canned goods for those in need. Thank you to our volunteers for continuing to #ChangeLives.
