💥Our commitment to the Nasty Node project 2025 has got off to a flying start this weekend with the uplift of Raychem node ‘TPLPB/A’ alongside Matt Young and Matt Hindle.💥 TPLPB/A had been subject to the elements and underwater for far too long. Not only that but the main body of the node had started to detach itself from the frame which if disturbed could cause a chain of catastrophic faults resulting in the fibres being the only thing holding the node together. Thankfully, after our combined efforts this weekend we are now cleared to work in TPLPB/A free from caution and look forward to the next challenge in enhancing our network. ✅ #nastynodes #networkhealth #fibre

**EXPERIENCED FIBRE ENGINEER SEEKING WORK!** Currently looking for contract work across the NW, with a willingness to travel for competitive rates. My CV is brimming with experience across the major networks, particularly with VM02. Whether it's a 576f spine joint or a patch panel in an exchange, l've built, spliced, and tested it all. Ribbon Splicing Night Work After completing this node on a Spine job 2 months ago (daylight photos), reatend to install/ribbon splice the last leg on this spine. Not surprisingly what I have found here😳. PON Cables installed, not dressed to follow the spine built loop and carry on inside the node, already compromised spare fibres. Maybe, who installed the PON cable, they think that never will come back to splice again. Conclusion: I did come back and splice, again.
