CEO James Chappell and SCbio Board Chair David Stefanich with Rymedi explored exciting partnership opportunities at GRAIL's East Coast headquarters!🙌 They discussed ways to expand access to Grail’s groundbreaking multi-cancer early-detection tests. The company’s Galleri test can detect signals from over 50 types of cancer. Currently, five cancer types have a recommended screening process (cervical, breast, prostate, colorectal, and lung). Early diagnosis can boost survival rates to 89%, compared to 21% when cancer is detected late. Congratulations to Greenville Technical College for its Prisma Health Center for Health and Life Sciences ribbon cutting held earlier today. This facility will educate the next generation of life sciences and healthcare professionals for years to come. Greenville Tech President Dr. Keith Miller noted that the new building is “learning on display” and will “break down barriers for students interested in STEM careers.” The new building includes: ✨Anatomage lab, which will offer students an opportunity to research and diagnose potential diseases ✨State-of-the-art radiology suite ✨Obstetrics suite where free screenings will be expanded Dr. Larry Miller, Vice President of Learning and Workforce Development, highlighted the building’s construction, facilitating active learning and a collaborative spirit among students and faculty.
