Funding opportunity for researchers at risk: SAFE is an EU-funded fellowship scheme enabling non-EU, at risk researchers to work at EU research institutions. Approximately 60 fully funded fellowships (up to 24 months) will be awarded during this call to both doctoral and postdoctoral researchers. Scholars at Risk Europe is hiring! Scholars at Risk (SAR) Europe seeks a Programme Officer to contribute to implementing the MSCA4Ukraine scheme, a fellowship programme funded by the European Commission’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) to support displaced researchers from Ukraine. The scheme currently enables over 120 researchers from Ukraine to continue their work at academic and non-academic organisations in 21 EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries, while maintaining their connections to research and innovation communities in Ukraine. The scheme also plans to facilitate researchers’ reintegration in Ukraine if conditions for safe return are met, and contributes to strengthening the Ukrainian university and research sector and its collaboration and exchange with the international research community. Complete applications must be received by 23:30hrs (local Irish time) on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
