A large challenge in the path to circularity is in waste management infrastructure, especially when it comes to addressing the challenges in plastic recycling. That’s one reason why our Chairman and CEO, H Fisk Johnson, advocates for regulations that incentivize packaged goods companies like SC Johnson to design products with better end-of-life management. These would promote product innovations in recyclability, recycled content usage, and re-use and refill options, which help reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills or the ocean.
