JOB OPENING: Foodservice Broker Manager Reports to the COO Job Summary: The Foodservice Broker Manager will oversee sales activities within a defined territory and manage sales brokers and distributors. Sales Area: • Candidate will cover Southeast, New England and Pacific Northwest • Prefer candidate to be located within working distance to Easton, MD or Manahawkin, NJ (some on-site work required) Supervisory Responsibilities: • None Duties/Responsibilities: • Manage and drive sales in specified territories, create partnerships with established and new accounts. • Monitors existing accounts and regularly communicates with primary contacts for the account. • Works to establish new accounts in the territory. • Works toward increasing sales growth in the territory. • Work independently and as part of a team implementing sales strategies & meeting target sales goals. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: • Ability to build and maintain business relationships with clients. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent management and leadership skills. • Excellent time management skills. • Ability to multitask and complete work while traveling. • Thorough knowledge of territory, market, and clients. • Excellent problem-solving skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. • Organized with attention to detail. Education and Experience: • Bachelors degree in related field preferred. • Five years of outside sales experience required, preferable in Foodservice or Broker Management. Physical Requirements: • Ability to travel daily and spend most of the day in a vehicle (50% to 60% travel) • Valid drivers license and no major driving violations. • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
