  • On October 19, Jefferson Golf Course was renamed 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐱, after Bill Wright who was a pioneer in golf and the first African American to win a USGA event! "The Bill Wright Golf Complex stands as a beacon for inclusive golf, a place where everyone feels they can learn and be their unique selves," said Derek Liddell, President of AP National Golf Club. Seattle, join us on the greens! The Bill Wright Golf Complex offers expansive vistas of the city's skyline and Mt. Rainier, a nine-hole executive course, a driving range, and excellent facilities, welcoming golfers of all levels. • Cozy season is here! Which means the sun is setting earlier, the evenings are getting cooler, and the firepit is being lit. Join us every Saturday through 2024, weather permitting, from 3pm to 6pm for the Firepit Socials - an informal gathering around a wood-burning firepit on Pier 62 where you can grab a hot beverage, watch the sun set, and cozy up with friends. Café Calaveras, a locally owned popup coffee shop with a latinx twist, will be vending Mexican-inspired hot beverages and small bites from the newly placed Pop-Up Shop on Pier 62. Pier 62 features plenty of seating options with tables and restroom facilities on site as well.

  • Keep our parks safe and clean! 🐾🌿 Watch our video to learn why it's essential to keep pets on leash and out of certain areas in Seattle parks. Remember, adhering to leash and scoop rules not only saves you from fines but also ensures everyone's safety and enjoyment. Let's work together to protect playfields, beaches, and playgrounds from pet damage and waste.
