We are the trusted provider of financial services for millions of members. And, according to Forbes Magazine, we're the best credit union in North Carolina. Absentee voting for the 2024 SECU Board of Directors Election is underway now thru October 1. Hear from Board-nominated candidate McKinley Wooten, who has served on the SECU Board since 2000. McKinley has been an SECU member since he was about 16 years old, joining when his mom was a state employee. In this video, he speaks to the way SECU meets the unique financial needs of members at various times in their lives, and how this understanding helps direct work of the Board. “(Members) financial needs at 24 are quite different than they are at 64. Because once we know that, we can make sure our products and services are unique for their financial needs,” he shares.
