On Monday, the SECU MD Foundation held their 7th Annual Golf Classic at Turf Valley in Ellicott City. A little rain didn't stop over 170 golfers from coming out and having an amazing day! Between having THE Johnny Holliday as our emcee and having our golfers challenge University of Maryland Terrapins athletes to games of cornhole, it was a tournament like none other. In all, we raised over $131,000 for the Foundation which helps to support Maryland students. Thank you to everyone who supported this amazing event.

Last week, SECU was proud to be a part of Morgan State University 's Annual Scholarship Luncheon. SECU has committed to supporting scholars at Morgan State over the next 5 years with the first round of scholarships awarded this Spring. This year, $42,000 in scholarships were awarded to 12 students, mostly freshman and sophmores in Performing Arts. We are just so proud to support local Marylan students.
