We kicked off our 125th anniversary celebrations in style with a company-wide happy hour! Associates came together to enjoy great food, drinks, and even better company. Cheers to 125 years and the incredible associates who make it all possible!

Take a walk through SECURA’s 125-year history! From our humble beginnings in a small Wisconsin farmhouse, protecting local farmers, to serving policyholders across 13 states — our history is built on growth, resilience, and staying true to our core values. We’ve changed names, moved locations, and had six incredible leaders, but one thing has never changed: our commitment to making insurance genuine.

Our 2025-2026 Foundational Leadership Program is officially underway! Our newest class recently gathered for an engaging session centered on our core principle of servant leadership. With 36 participants and eight mentors, the group explored key leadership principles, took part in interactive team-building activities focused on communication, collaboration, and decision-making, and gave back in a meaningful way — creating tie blankets for patients at St. Elizabeth’s Cancer Center. #MakingInsuranceGenuine

Today’s the day — SECURA turns 125! 🎉 On this day in 1900, local farmer Julius Bubolz set out to protect his neighbors after a devastating tornado tore through New Richmond, Wisconsin. He proposed a mutual insurance company where every member had an equal voice and shared in both losses and expenses. With a handshake, The Farmers Home Mutual Hail, Tornado, and Cyclone Insurance Company of Seymour, Wisconsin, was born. Though our name has since changed to SECURA Insurance, from the beginning, our company leaders have valued relationships. Those same genuine relationships that founded our company have carried us all the way to our 125th anniversary. Thanks to our associates, agents, policyholders, and communities, we have a rich history to celebrate. Here’s to the next 125 years of #MakingInsuranceGenuine!
