And far too many of us also face systemic bias and discrimination, which can take a deep psychological toll. So how do we navigate this for the sake of our health and careers? When we talk about women in business, so much attention is given to breaking the "glass ceiling." The reality is the bigger problem is the "broken rung" that prevents women from advancing in the early stages of their careers. The result is diminishing talent at the top. Fixing this is a topic I'm passionate about, and I'm grateful to Puget Sound Business Journal for giving me the platform to share my perspective. Please join me in saying goodbye to some amazing tights🥹 Thank you, OG Victoria Secret’s tights for the many hard, loving years of good work. You have been with me as I have taught fifty eleven thousand classes, hundreds of miles of running, and a many nights of lifting. You reduced the appearance of my cellulite, maintained hours of beautiful compression; all while brining me (and others) endless moments of joy, colors, and patterns. Some of you were there as I desperately squeezed my postpartum butt (literally) back into anything that would fit me… and you never failed. When we were invited to the glow in dark birthday party, one of you rose to the occasion. Thank you for your odor resistance, your supportive seams… especially at the crotch area. You stand strong even to this day. I could go on and on about the love that we shared, but it is time to say goodbye. And all though your colors have begun to fade, your purpose still stands strong. I don’t know why VS stop making your fellow sisters with the same quality and attention to detail as you, but know that I will continue to sing your praises.
