It’s with a heavy heart we share that As You Are will no longer be able to offer virtual autism evaluation services. Effective July 1st 2024, we are no longer able to accept new patients in order to focus on providing a seamless transition and continuity of care to our existing patients. We will do our best to ensure that existing patients are provided the appropriate services, documentation, and resource support during this time. After two years of creating solutions for children across the country, we’ve been able to help nearly 18,000 children get off waitlists and into the appropriate care. We always were and will remain committed to timely care and supporting families. We are heartbroken that unforeseen circumstances and a challenging healthcare insurance landscape are keeping us from continuing to provide services to new patients. Our primary concern at this time is ensuring a smooth transition for our patient families. For questions, requests to cancel existing appointments, or requests for documentation call (866) 219-8595 or email support@asyouare.com.  For a new autism evaluation appointment, we suggest that you contact your insurance provider and ask them to provide a list of autism diagnostic clinics that they cover. Below are additional resources that may be helpful for your family in order to find a new appointment in a timely manner. We're excited to announce our collaboration with Included Health to provide faster access to pediatric autism diagnostic evaluations for their employers, working parents, and their kids younger than 10 years old, nationwide. Did you know that the scarcity of healthcare providers has created a national crisis for pediatric patients needing autism evaluations? Nearly 1 in 5 children will experience a mental, emotional, or behavioral challenge requiring a diagnostic evaluation. And 1 in 36 kids will ultimately be diagnosed with autism.
