Our co-founders Xing S. and Yang Su started Seen Health after experiencing firsthand the challenges of accessing high-quality, sustainable care for their own grandparents. "Our grandparents taught us how deeply people need to feel seen, valued, and understood as they age," the Su brothers said. "At Seen Health, we believe in tailoring care to what’s right for each person, which means taking time to understand their unique culture, values, and circumstances." 🤲 Read more on their founding journey: https://bit.ly/3OfQLdK ✨ Want to join our mission? https://lnkd.in/ejGyEAdu

🚀 A Historic Moment for Senior Care & Seen Health! 🎉 This Saturday, we marked a major milestone, celebrating the official grand opening of Seen Health's first PACE center—expanding access to exceptional, culturally attuned care for seniors and setting a new standard for aging at home. Located in San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles County, our center is already providing seniors with high-quality medical and social care at our center and in their homes. Since January, we’ve welcomed our first participants, offering on-site medical care, rehabilitation, engaging social programs, nutritious meals, and door-to-door transportation—all designed to help seniors thrive. 🤲 Our participant Rongmei (Emma) Wang shared with the audience how Seen Health has helped her address a healthcare gap and supported her daily since enrolling in January. She extended her and her family’s appreciation for the care she’s received, “As seniors, we may feel vulnerable, but at Seen Health, we are seen and supported. Their care honors our traditions—every gesture and detail reflects the respect and kindness we cherish. With such caring people by my side, I feel hopeful and ready to start this new chapter at Seen Health.” We were honored to celebrate this moment alongside top officials including U.S. Representative Judy Chu, California Assemblymember Mike Fong, the office of State Senator Sasha Renee Perez, Alhambra Mayor Katherine Lee, Councilwoman Noya Wang, P.E., S.E., Monterey Park Mayor Vinh Ngo, City of San Gabriel councilmember Tony Ding, Members of the Alhambra Chamber Of Commerce, and Co-founders of Astrana Health, Executive Chairman Dr. Kenneth Sim and Vice Chairman Dr. Thomas Lam — all of whom recognize the critical need for high-quality, culturally-focused senior care in our communities. 💡 "We have 12 million older adults in the U.S. struggling to find the care that they need and Seen Health’s PACE center is stepping up to this challenge." – U.S. Representative Judy Chu. From the traditional lion dance to a joyful ribbon-cutting ceremony, this event was a powerful reflection of Seen Health’s vibrant local connections. The event celebrated Seen Health’s deep partnership with the community highlighting youth dancers from Dian Art Center and Immortals Dance Team, local musicians, and the catered food from Phoenix Food and Dessert. The co-founders of Seen Health, Xing S. and Yang Su, stated: “Today marks just the beginning. We aim to set a new standard for what aging care can—and should—be, right here in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley.” #SeenHealth #SeniorCare #HealthcareInnovation #PACE #GrandOpening #SanGabrielValley #CommunityDrivenCare 📸 Yaxin Mao 📹Vichie Hou

As our co-founder Yang Su often says, when it comes to delivering culturally-focused and comprehensive care for seniors, technology is not a panacea. But when applied thoughtfully—like we’re doing at Seen Health—it becomes a powerful tool to simplify complex healthcare operations and enhance the incredible work of our providers. The result? Empowering our teams to deliver the exceptional care experiences that seniors and their families need and deserve. On the Slice of Healthcare podcast, Yang Su and Xing S. share how we’ve designed technology and our care model to address typical pain points head-on and provide care that ensures seniors are truly seen. 🎧 Listen here: https://bit.ly/408Xmfi

🎉 A monumental start to the New Year for Seen Health! 🎉 Today, we celebrate an incredible milestone at Seen Health: the opening of our very first PACE center in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles County. This moment marks three years of dedication and hard work by our amazing team, all driven by one purpose: providing seniors with culturally relevant, high-quality care that enables them to age at home and in their communities. We chose the San Gabriel Valley intentionally — a region rich in diversity, home to one of the largest Asian and Pacific Islander senior populations in the U.S., and a community that has long been underserved. Our PACE center was thoughtfully designed by and for this community, creating a welcoming, vibrant space where seniors can find community, connection, and care. At the heart of the center is a beautiful, light-filled day room anchored by a living tree, a meaningful symbol in Chinese culture that represents life, longevity, and prosperity. It’s a reflection of our commitment to honoring the traditions and values of those we serve. This is just the beginning. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey and are honored to welcome our first members. 👉 Hear more about our mission from our co-founders, twin brothers Xing S. and Yang Su: https://bit.ly/3OfQLdK 🌟 Join our mission: seenhealth.org/careers 📩 Partner with us: hello@seenhealth.org Here’s to making 2025 a year of community and care for all. 💚 #SeenHealth #SeniorCare #MissionDriven #Healthcare #HealthcareInnovation

At Seen Health, culturally-focused care is foundational in providing care that ensures seniors feel truly seen. From the design of our first PACE center in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles, to the providers and staff we hire, to the activities and meals we offer, we deeply integrate cultural elements for the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) community we support. As our co-founder and CEO Xing S. told Senior Housing News, “There’s all these smaller details that we put into the center to make sure that people can feel almost like a home away from home. We want to be a gathering place for the community.” Read more in Senior Housing News 👉 https://bit.ly/4fmjit9

Last week, we introduced Seen Health to the world, announcing $22 million in funding to support our mission of delivering exceptional aging experiences that every family deserves — enabling seniors to age where they're most comfortable, at home and in their communities. Our cofounders Xing S. and Yang Su spoke with MedCity News about how our culturally-focused, technology-enabled care model will expand access for many more seniors, the opening of our first center for API senior in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County in early 2025, and our vision for what's ahead. At Seen Health, culturally-focused care is the foundation of what we do — from the design of our centers, to how we engage the community with cultural activities, to the care that our clinicians and staff deliver to participants in their native language and in ways that honor their heritage and community. As our co-founder and CEO Xing S. shared with Home Health Care News on why we chose the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County for our first center: "We really wanted to meet people where they’re at. San Gabriel Valley is one of the most ethnically diverse communities anywhere in the U.S., but has a particularly high API population," said Su. "Everything from linguistic competency to Eastern medicine, to the food we serve, and the activities that we have...the entire point is to be able to build our facility into a hub of activity for local seniors and their families, such that they can actually engage and we can manage their health better.” 👉 Read more in Home Health Care News https://bit.ly/3CucprR 👋 Interested in partnering with us? hello@seenhealth.org https://bit.ly/3CucprR

The most compelling missions are usually deeply personal, and Seen Health is no exception. Twin brothers Yang Su and Xing S. experienced the limitations of senior care, and the overload that plagues family caregivers, firsthand. They became determined to build a senior care program they could gladly trust with their own grandparents, and Seen Health was born. Three years and countless hurdles later, their perseverance and ingenuity are poised to reset the bar for senior care, with their first center opening soon in California, and the creation of a pioneering, deeply integrated tech stack designed for a full range of clinical and back office workflows. Along the way, they’ve enlisted a fantastic team of medical and provider professionals to complement their technical and operational leadership. We couldn’t be more impressed with their progress so far, or prouder to lead their Series A. CC: Sebastian Caliri Francisco Gimenez Alex Kolicich Jack Moshkovich
📣 We’re proud to introduce Seen Health!
