Mr Beast is the most popular Youtube creator, and his employee handbook just leaked! It's an interesting read, and very aptly titled "How to Succeed at Mr Beast" Here are my takeaways through an HR lense: -> Embrace continuous learning - that means pushing yourself to understand all aspects of the business to contribute at a higher level -> Establish clear expectations - especially in a world of remote work and younger employees not necessarily getting hands on mentorship of previous generations -> Ownership and Problem Solving - This can start from the get go (see slides below for how to do it via employee onboarding onwards) -> Adaptability and Flexibility - This is one that everyone says "yup" to, and really makes you want to read the exact words Jimmy writes for his employees at one of the most innovative companies in the world -> Information Diet - You are the average of the 5 people you spend time with, and all the information you consume on a daily/weekly/monthly basis I'll link to the full handbook in the comments (LinkedIn still penalizing posts that push people "off platform"...) #LinkedIn30 day 13/30 - as always hit me up for any questions related to HR tech and I'll do my best to help!
