I am pleased to share an exciting update on #sustainability, an important topic in today's business aviation landscape. Last month, Gulfstream Aerospace partnered with NASA, the FAA, the Missouri University of Science and Technology any many others to conduct ground emissions testing of 100% neat sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) containing zero sulfur. The testing took place on an all-new #G700.   At Gulfstream, we are innovating for a sustainable future and are proud of our role in advancing this body of research on SAF. Preliminary results from this endeavor are promising and have indicated minimal to no sulfuric fuel contamination, illustrating reduced greenhouse gas production. The results also demonstrated potential for 100% SAF to improve local air quality near airports as well as reducing the formation of condensation trails.   Many thanks to our dedicated research partners who joined us for this project. ENGIE’s customer San Marcos Unified School District has unveiled a district-wide fleet electrification transportation center with #energy infrastructure and upgrades.   This initiative brings: · 33 new electric buses · 40 eBus charging stations, with infrastructure for 35 more · Solar power generation and battery energy storage · A microgrid for backup power and energy resilience   This transformational project is projected to save $40 million in energy costs while reducing the district’s carbon footprint. The project upgraded #infrastructure across 19 sites with LED lighting, HVAC improvements, and more #solar installations to support our commitment to sustainability.   We’re incredibly proud of this step toward a more #sustainable future for the #SMUSD students and community.
