As first responders risk their lives performing rescues, ensuring public safety, and restoring vital services, many face the harsh reality that their own homes and families have suffered material losses from the recent storms. “That's why SERVPRO has partnered with the First Responders Children's Foundation to seed the SERVPRO Disaster Relief Fund with $100,000. Together, we have set a goal to raise $250,000 with every cent going to first responder families in need.” -Brett Ponton In support of National First Responders Day, please consider helping first responders’ families by donating today-->https://bit.ly/3BKOELM

On National First Responders Day, we recognize and celebrate the brave men and women who help keep us safe. Their dedication, whether through search and rescue, medical aid, protection, or firefighting often means putting themselves at great risk to help others in need. As witnessed in the recent hurricanes, the work of these brave teams not only saved countless lives but also provided a source of hope and safety for those affected by these destructive storms. Today, first responders from across America will join SERVPRO at a Times Square ceremony so that we may recognize their bravery, and the invaluable service they provide to our country.

This "Extreme Clean" was a slam dunk. Extreme situations call for extreme measures. A SERVPRO franchise tented this flooded gym floor to create a warm air pocket, helping to ensure a faster and more effective drying process to prevent further damage.

The SERVPRO HQ Chili Cook-Off was a sizzling success! Talented team members fired up their cooking pots, competing in categories including Best Traditional Chili, Best Non-Traditional Chili, and Best Soup. The creativity didn't stop at the stove, as contestants also vied for Best Table Decoration. In the end, winners took home prizes and bragging rights — all while raising money for United Way with a least $5 from every bowl sold!

The SERVPRO Firefighter Challenge World Championships are heating up, with action continuing through Saturday. One of the toughest sections of the course is the "Hose Advance," where competitors face a daunting 140-foot slalom run before pulling a firehose 75 ft. and then ending their run with a grueling 165 lb. manikin carry.
