Welcome 2024-25 #SGSNY Scholars! 🎉 🥳 Last week, we held our annual Scholar Orientation 🤝 at The Information Lab US where we welcomed students who are recipients of the SGSNY #Scholarship this year. Scholars enjoyed networking, learned about our partners such as CareerSpring to help them with their post-graduation plans, and more! The 2024-25 #Scholarship Program will support 26 Scholars from nine Commonwealth countries, including #Bangladesh, #Dominica, #Ghana, #Guyana, #Jamaica, #Nigeria, #Pakistan, #SriLanka, and #TrinidadandTobago. Our Scholars are made up of 22 women and 4 men specializing in diverse fields like Computer Systems, Mathematics, Accounting, and Business, Sciences and Health Services, and Communications & Arts. SGSNY Scholars are frequently the first in their family to #attendcollege and #graduate 🎓 at a rate of 98%.
