Today is World Mental Health Day, a day that represents a global initiative to raise awareness and understanding about mental health issues. Mental health in the workplace isn’t just about what resources a company does or doesn’t have; it is about creating a culture where employees feel safe to discuss their mental well-being. A culture that doesn’t prejudice against people with different capabilities than our own, a culture that is honest and open and is constantly seeking to improve itself, no different than what it is asking of the individuals who comprise it. Here at Shane Co., we are fully committed to doing our best to support the mental health of our team members. We have a dedicated Manager of Wellbeing & Work Life. We offer various trainings on different mental-health and wellness related topics, a variety of resources, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Affinity Groups focused on wellness, and more—all with the sole purpose of providing support to #TeamShaneCo. Why do we do this? Because we know how important mental health is to one’s overall well-being. We believe that healthy people make happy people, and happy people make better workplaces overall (and happier customers!). And we want to make sure that each of our employees feels valued and seen as a whole person. Happy World Mental Health Day! Get out there and take care of yourselves and each other.

#TeamShaneCo celebrated another BIG anniversary! Jenna is our Operations Manager in Woodbury, MN and she hit her 20th anniversary milestone this month! In 2004, Jenna originally joined the Shane Co. team at the Minnetonka store. She has held many roles in the stores such as Jewelry Consultant, Trainer, Assistant Sales Manager, and now in the Operations Manager role. Jenna brings so much joy, positivity, and dedication to her team, and Shane Co. as a whole! We are so very happy to celebrate her #20thAnniversary!
