  • This week on The Nordy Pod, our host Pete Nordstrom shines a spotlight on Nuna, a brand partner that’s revolutionizing baby gear by prioritizing the needs of parents. Founded in 2007 in the Netherlands, Nuna specializes in premium baby gear like strollers and car seats that combine both safety and design. Since we partnered with Nuna, they’ve become a top-performing brand at Nordstrom. This month, we’ve created a dedicated space for Nuna at our New York City flagship store, where expecting parents can talk to our salespeople and find the right gear for them. Pete talks to Brad Bickley, global president of Nuna, about the qualities that set their products apart, their investment in training salespeople, and their continuous focus on innovation (including a recently launched line of pet gear!).     The wildfires in Southern California have devastated communities. Nordstrom has been proud to serve the Los Angeles region for decades, and we believe we have a responsibility to support our people, our customers and our community as they recover from this tragedy. In this week’s episode of The Nordy Pod, we explore our company’s values and the important work our team is doing to help out a community in need.   Our host Pete Nordstrom talks with a few Nordstrom leaders — Michelle Korb, regional manager of Southern California, and store managers Mari Lagunas and Lucy Minasian — who all displayed incredible poise and empathy during this crisis as they led support efforts for our team members and customers. You’ll also hear the devastating account of Pete’s good friend Sam Jones, who lost his home in the Pacific Palisades fire.   We’re proud of the compassion of our store teams who’ve donated their time and money to help each other and our community, and we as a company are committed to contributing to the ongoing relief efforts. We’ve partnered with organizations like American Red Cross and Good+Foundation to raise money for shelter, food, and supplies, and we’re also matching our employees’ donations dollar for dollar.     Last night, we celebrated the launch of our latest "For Everything New York" campaign with a cocktail event held at Wolf at Nordstrom NYC. Hosted by Jamie Nordstrom, chief merchandising officer, the event brought together campaign stars and guests for a memorable evening at our flagship.   Shot by the renowned Cass Bird and styled by Kate Young, the campaign highlights iconic New York establishments and features a dynamic group of notable New Yorkers, including Amy Sedaris, John Turturro, Spike Lee, Kate Young, Kate Berlant, John Early, Devyn Garcia, Calista Choley, and Carlisle Aikens, all of whom share an affinity for their hometown.   The imagery captures both everyday and extraordinary moments across the city—whether it's a day at the museum, savoring dim sum in NoLIta, enjoying a glamorous night out, or gathering groceries for a family dinner—illustrating how Nordstrom provides offerings and services to ensure customers are ready For Everything New York.   Learn more about what #NordstromNYC has to offer: https://lnkd.in/gcxkc2HM
