Here are some basic principals I use for myself & clients for my cold email campaigns: - Less than 40-50 words - Say “you” 2x more than you say “we” - 3 short sentences - 3rd grade reading level (hemingway) & Chatgpt - Name drop testimonials (people in their industry) - How to eliminate the problem & solve the solution - Point out the problem - Pinpoint revenue saved with other similar companies - Recently helped XX in this industry XX - Save this amount of $$ in (time frame) - Save time - Money - Make more revenue - Lead magnet should stay the same across all email copy. - Lead magnet - Subject line (SL) should peak the curiosity If you follow all of these principals, and have a great offer then you will have a successful cold email campaign. This one fix will help save you time & get quicker responses with your cold emails campaigns. When writing cold email scripts, we create subsequences for when a prospect responds. A subsequence is used when a prospect has a specific question about your service after the initial cold email sequence. Since having a quick response is one of the most important aspects of cold email, Automating this process allows us to avoid spending unnecessary time spent on manual tasks and respond to prospects' questions in seconds. Here are some subsequences we set up: -Out Of Office -Sales Asset Request -Loom Request -Generic Info Request -Pricing Question -Custom Response Needed The subsequences also include follow-ups if the prospect does not respond to the first email. We send up to three follow-ups before discontinuing the lead. Having proper subsequences built specifically for each different sub-niche helps save time and get quicker responses once the campaign has been launched. Not every person is a right fit for your product or service. A booked call with someone who is not in your ICP (ideal client profile) is worthless. That's why you need to source and scrape ONLY verified and qualified leads to ensure the success of your cold email campaigns. Doing thorough market research is key to finding qualified leads for your service company. Here’s a look at the variety of data points we scrape to send targeted cold email campaigns: Company -Location -Company size -Employee count -Estimated revenue -Industry -Keywords -Technologies they use -Funding history -Job postings People -Job titles -Location This helps us create targeted, narrow campaigns so that we can speak directly to our dream prospect. Not only that, but we use a variety of softwares to obtain our dream clients from across many industries, including: -Listkit -Clutch -Apollo -Crunchbase -Storeleads -Niche data sources We want to segment our list as much as possible so we can speak directly to our target audience. However, because emails get outdated, people leave companies, or even retire, You need to clean every list to maintain a low bounce rate and save your inbox deliverability score. To do so, use an SMTP data validation tool like: -Millionverifier -Neverbounce -Bulkmailchecker To clean catch-all emails, use: -Scrubby.io If you do not verify every single email before sending, your domains will get blacklisted and marked as spam. We will handle this process end-to-end for your company. Book a call to learn more: www.sheath.pro

Let's take a look at what typical businesses does: Most businesses try to scale vertically, They set up one domain and send thousands of emails through one inbox (if their provider even allows them). And the result: They land in the spam Inbox. This is because email providers are not dumb. They know when sending volume is not human, so they set up perimeters on how many emails you can send per inbox, and if these guidelines are not followed, They will block your domains & inboxes and even put everyone in your company on a blacklist you so that no one can never send emails from that address again. The proper way to set up a cold email infrastructure is to scale horizontally Making multiple domains and inboxes per domain, to spread deliverability evenly across every inbox. This makes the sending volume look human to the email providers and prevents you from going to spam. We will set up DMARC, DKIM, SPF records on top of warming up your domains to further ensure that your emails never see the inside of the spam folder. Not only that, but to prevent your emails to be marked by spam, we will include spintax to your emails so every email we send is entirely unique. And example of this in action would be {{Good morning {{first_name}}{|Hi|Hello|Hey} {first_name}} Which will output >Good morning Sam >Hi Sam >Hello Sam >Hey Sam CTA {{Open to discussing over the phone?|Care to learning more?|Mind if I send over a quick video on how our process works?}} Which will output >Open to discussing over the phone? >Care to learning more? >Mind if I send over a quick video on how our process works? There can be infinite variations of outputs, And we do this across all of our email copy. This allows us to be seen as human in the eyes of Microsoft/Google and land in the primary inbox. #coldemail #emailmarketing #coldemailmarketing

You are not making as much money as you want in your business because people do not know you exist… …and the way you can let them know you exist is to send them emails. A lot of them. Cold email scales linearly, which means, Double the amount of people who see your emails = double your meetings booked. Note: Some markets are only SO BIG. So make sure your emails are as high quality as possible. But only a fraction of your market at a given time is ready to buy, This means to successfully book meetings using cold outbound, you need to get in front of SO many people that you find the "right person, right time" type of prospect. And if you are not doing cold email properly, then you are missing out on potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars every year. In 2024, there are over 4.4 billion users who own an email address and around 361.6 billion emails are sent and received each single day worldwide (Source: Oberlo | Where Self Made is Made. That means more people are sending cold emails than every before, So the only way to succeed in this market is to create a cold email infrastructure that can predictably send high volumes of emails without going to the spam folder. Where most companies fail is that when they send cold emails… they land in spam… … and no one sees them. This is simplify because they do not properly set up a technical cold email infrastructure. Having a successful cold outbound system is like building a bridge. If one piece of the bridge is broken, Then you will not see results with cold email If cold email has not worked for you in the past, it is because one step out of these 4 were broken. Cold email only works if all 4 pieces of the bridge are in tact, as each step communicates with the next. If your email infrastructure not setup properly… Your emails will land in the spam inbox If your leads are not verified… Email bounces & domains get blacklisted If you are sending poorly written emails… People don't respond & mark your emails as spam If you do not respond back to emails in a timely manner… Leads become uninterested & don't book Sending low volume of emails... You get lost in the noise of the market & won't be exposed to enough people ready to buy your service. That's a lot of steps, I know… So, let's walk you through the first step of the infrastructure to ensure your success: 1) Deliverability Let's take a look at what typical businesses does: Most businesses try to scale vertically They set up one domain and send thousands of emails through one inbox (if their providor even allows them) And the result: They land in the spam Inbox This is because email providers are not dumb. There are only 2 ways in the entire world to keep clients longer. 1. Have the best customer experience 2. Get clients results That’s it. Today I’m going to focus on the first of these two metrics. Step 1: Onboarding There should NEVER be a delay from one the client pays you money, to when you start getting them results. You need to physically guide your client through the entire journey from beginning to end. There CANNOT be blank space. There CANNOT be confusion. They have to understand EXACTLY how fullfillment and deliverables will happen completely, and the steps they need to take. Here's exactly how I set up my onboarding system for my business. • Create a Zap when a payment is made from Stripe → automated welcome personalized email & link to onboarding funnel. • Onboarding funnel with 6 steps - What to expect from the onboarding process - What to expect from service - Integration with service - Onboarding form - Book next call - Join Slack channel Step 2: Communication The biggest killer of revenue growth is a lack of a proper and consistent communication system with your client. For my business, all of our communication is done through Slack. This makes things very easy for us and the client because it notifies them of booked calls in real-time. Clients need to see tangible results of the service you are providing them at all times. So how do you do that? For us, we integrate Zapier with Smartlead and a private Slack channel with our client. And whenever a lead books a call on our clients calendar it notifies the client immediately. This leads to real time results as the client can tangibly see the progress our service is giving them. On top of that we give them detailed weekly reports of screenshots from our dashboard. Every step of the customer experience has to be physically walk the customer through what to do & there needs to be constant communication. Testing new audiences with cold email is almost identical to Facebook advertising. Segment and create different audiences with at least 5 different scripts and campaigns per audience. Each audience should be tested against AT LEAST 1,000 leads. Next is to do clear ICP (Ideal Client Profile) research. Begin by discovering these main points: -Company -Location -Company size -Employee count -Estimated revenue -Industry -Keywords -Technologies they use -Funding history -Job postings -People -Location -Job Titles To go even deeper, get clear on these questions, consider the following strategies: -Build a “Dream 100” list -Tap into your personal brand to connect with industry experts -Conduct market research in niche groups
