Last week, Sher Tremonte partner Justin J. Gunnell spoke on a panel at the Avalanche Summit LATAM 2024 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he shared his insights on crypto litigation. During the panel discussion titled "Niche Legal Issues You Should Care About," The panel delved into various legal issues which touched on tax, anti-money laundering (AML), cybersecurity and litigation affecting blockchain, cryptocurrency, and web3 businesses. The panel took a deep dive into tax issues, asset management and funds, and explored global trends in domestic civil litigation.

Partner Erica Wolff is quoted in the Newsweek article “Central Park Five vs. Donald Trump: Defamation Lawyers Give Their Verdict.” In this article, Erica opines on the strengths of a new defamation lawsuit brought against Donald Trump by the Central Park Five (a group of Black and Hispanic men who were wrongfully convicted as teenagers of assaults in 1989).
