Our Solution: SHEXON is a community-based platform that connects international graduates with successful alumni from similar disciplines and cultural backgrounds. By facilitating the exchange of experiences and offering personalized guidance through paid one-on-one meetings, we empower graduates to navigate their career paths more effectively. For Alumni: We organize events that enable alumni to give back to their communities by sharing their job market experiences and insights with current students and recent graduates. Your role as an alum is incredibly important – your experience and mentorship can make a significant impact, helping international graduates overcome challenges and thrive in their careers. Ready to Take Bigger Steps! On the 5th of July, we celebrated the end of an intense 12-week journey in the Dutch New Narrative Lab (DNNL) Launchpad program hosted at Amazon. This journey was made possible by Social Enterprise NL and Google. This incredible experience has been truly transformative for my personal and entrepreneurial development and allowed us to develop and reshape SHEXON for the better. DNNL Launchpad program focuses on empowering underrepresented social entrepreneurs with a migration background, helping them tackle their unique challenges in the Dutch startup landscape. I am immensely grateful to Ruben Brave, a successful serial entrepreneur and true role model, and to Arosha Brouwer our lead mentor, whose unwavering support was invaluable throughout this journey. To objectively carry out the selection process, we engaged an independent panel of judges to evaluate these initiatives.
