Yesterday I spent half a day in the Tenderloin District of San Francisco, where we employ care specialists to assist homeless and vulnerable individuals on behalf of our health plan partners the State of California. In addition to the healthcare services that Upward Health provides, we also assist many with one time support through our foundation, Shoulder to Shoulder. The scope of need is a little daunting, but with these organizations working in concert, we have a chance to make a big impact in places of despair. Take a look… if you can donate please consider it. There is no admin burden; every dollar goes straight to the individuals served.
