Established in September 2003, the 30-person Khedive Scooter Patrol unit is family-oriented, encouraging the participation of spouses, children, and friends to support Shriners Children’s. They actively engage in local parades and celebrations, participate in the Adopt-A-Highway Program, and celebrate members' birthdays at monthly meetings. Shriners International is a fraternal organization with chapters around the world. Members are men of good character dedicated to fun, fellowship and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, truth and relief. 150 Miracle League players took the field alongside the Louisville Cardinals at the Shriners Children’s College Showdown Youth Experience presented by Kosiar for Kids. The Misfits BBQ of El Zagal was established in 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic halted most activities. This crew of BBQ enthusiasts quickly adapted to the times with drive-thru BBQ events that brought the community together. Club President Mike Hennebry calls it a "blur of nonstop fun," and it’s easy to see why! From serving up delicious meals for local charities, to being an active part of all El Zagal activities, these BBQ wizards are all about sharing fun and good eats! Their passion for food and community has even drawn interest from other nobles eager to join in on the fun.
