First day of the grand opening! 🎉 Today marked the start of Nel’s grand opening for our fully automated PEM electrolyser production facility in Wallingford, Connecticut. This new site increases our manufacturing capacity to 500 MW, setting a new benchmark for efficiency in hydrogen production. We were honored to have Senator Richard Blumenthal deliver a speech at the event, saying, “Connecticut is a global leader in hydrogen because of companies like Nel.” Here’s a sneak peek from the first day 👇

PDS recently set 30 Roof Top Unit’s at the Burns Latino Studies Academy in Hartford! We are currently working in multiple areas of the fully occupied school with the next phased turnover scheduled for late this year!

Our Project Management team celebrated the #toppingoff ceremony for the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass Amherst) Computer Science Laboratories (CSL)! This milestone brings the University one step closer to its goal of transitioning to 100% renewable energy. The 93,000-square-foot CSL will feature cutting-edge research labs, collaborative spaces, and offices, all within a mass timber structure designed to minimize energy use and eliminate fossil fuels on-site. We are one more step closer to completion at UMass Amherst Computer Science Laboratories! Congrats to the whole Team! The final Mass timber element was autographed and set into place, further defining a new collaborative hub for The Computer Science Laboratories (CSL) at UMass Amherst. The 93,000-square-foot new building will use minimal energy, no fossil fuels on-site, and significantly minimize embodied carbon. Surrounded by state-of-the-art research laboratories, collaborative spaces, and offices, this will be an ideal place to fulfill the College’s vision: “A world where computing enhances the well-being of our citizenry.” The design was the first initiative under the UMass Carbon Zero initiative, which will transition the campus to 100% renewable energy. Central to the project approach is a low-carbon wood structure forming a much-needed gathering space and seamlessly connecting the new building with existing facilities.
