Manufacturing and materials for producing sustainable soft goods at scale
About us
Simplifyber has created a first-of-its-kind manufacturing process that uses plant-based fibers to create entire 3D-shaped soft goods directly, in a single step. Simplifyber's patented process eliminates the need for spinning, weaving/knitting and greatly reduces the need for sewing, and will transform fashion’s supply chain into plant-based 3D manufacturing, at a cost competitive with plastic and polyester.

Here's the first look at the new SIMPLIFYBER x GANNI "Moon Shoe" collaboration, launched yesterday at Paris Fashion Week Spring 2025! These shoe uppers started as a liquid of cellulose fibers, poured into a 3D mold using SIMPLIFYBER's patented additive manufacturing process, which reduces environmental impact by up to 33x compared with conventional shoe uppers. #ganni #fabricsofthefuture #sustainablefashion

More buildings should be built with natural materials. Here's a great presentation on how to do it, and why it's important:
More people should know about straw bale construction for buildings. It's natural, super energy-efficient and waste free. It also looks really cool and you can even build a lot of it yourself. The technique doesn't get much attention because there isn't a huge industry behind it (there's no "Big Straw"). Here's an excellent lecture about it: https://lnkd.in/euN4ACpV #climatetech #naturalarchitecture #strawbaleconstruction #climatesolutions
