I wrote 5 text messages that led to $49,097 in revenue for a Skipio customer that did online coaching. Here’s why it worked. Here’s 4 things that made this automated process & 5 text messages work. 👋 The sales reps sounded APPROACHABLE. The tone and word choice I used in the messages didn’t put extra pressure on the leads; it made the sales reps sound curious and eager to help. 👂 The messages focused on ONE NEXT STEP. I wrote the messages to make it a no-brainer for a lead to respond and do one simple thing: reschedule. No additional steps needed. ⏰ The timing wasn’t OVERWHELMING. This wasn’t 5 messages over 5 days — this was 5 messages over 10+ days. Skipio's process kept running until a lead responded or rescheduled, but it wasn’t bombarding anyone. 🤝 Their sales team was dedicated to PERSONAL INTERACTIONS. First, it was clear the messages came from a person, not a bot (even though Skipio fully automated the outreach). Second, the team was always ready to reply. The process magnified the great foundation of customer care that they’d already built.
