Skuld is pleased to announce that we were chosen as a Semi-Finalist in this year's Most Fundable Companies competition. This is the top 100 out of over 2,400 entrants so not too shabby. Maybe next year we'll make the Finals since we have a lot of things we are rolling out in the next year and announcements soon. 😉 Thanks to BRITE Energy Innovators, MAGNET: The Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network, Entrepreneurs' Center, Innovation Crossroads, and Spark Innovation Center at the UT Research Park for your help and support in getting us to this point.
About us
Castings are essentially comprised of three things: Geometry, Metallurgy, and Technology. We have developed new technology that we call AMEC (Additive Manufacturing Evaporative Casting). This technology allows us to achieve tolerances of +/- 0.005" for the first inch and +/-0.003" thereafter (less than a hair's width per inch). With proper mold design, +/- 0.002" is often possible. This is as good or better than lost wax investment casting but is more cost effective, quicker, and much more environmentally friendly. With our help, you will be able to reduce the weight of your metal components, eliminate welding, and eliminate up to 100% of your machining.

We appreciate the write up!
🌟Startup Spotlight 🌟 Skuld LLC is changing how we manufacture metal parts through its additive manufacturing evaporative casting (AMEC). It's faster, less expensive, and capable of making large parts with precision tolerances. 🔧 The company is participating in Innovation Crossroads at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. CEO, Sarah Jordan, is no stranger to the startup sphere. As a serial entrepreneur, she is taking lessons from the past and applying them to the future. READ MORE ⬇️ https://ow.ly/TU3H50Qbx3T
