About us
The Small Business Roundtable (SBR) is a coalition of leading small business and entrepreneurship organizations, dedicated to advancing policy, securing access, and promoting inclusion to benefit the businesses at the heart of the American economy. Who Are We? Members of the Roundtable are organizations committed to improving the entrepreneurial environment. We envision small business organizations, collectively advocating for more than 30 million American small businesses. Why is SBR needed? Over the past decade, successive Administrations, Congress, trade associations, and the private sector have recognized the growing influence of small business advocacy. The advent of new organizations has built on the experience of well-established players in Washington. Nonetheless, the small business policy agenda is all too often an afterthought, taking a back seat to rhetoric. Small Business Roundtable aims to coalesce the membership, reputation, and influence of the collective small business community around three core offerings to its partners: policy, access, and inclusion. Policy SBR will work with member organizations to identify consensus policy priorities and advance those through government affairs and strategic communications in a non-partisan manner. Access SBR will secure meetings, briefings, conference calls, etc. to have direct discussions with policymakers and key stakeholders. These engagements will be focused on conveying our priorities to leaders. Inclusion While “small business” makes for great rhetoric, its advocates are oftentimes not included in major policy decisions. The leading goal of this coalition is to change that narrative and ensure our voice--the collective voice of our members--is not only heard but asked for.

CanWCC’s Founder and CEO, Nancy Wilson, was a speaker at today’s Entrepreneurship Exchange 2024 roundtable. The topic of discussion was “Revitalizing the Supply Chains of North America through Small Businesses." Nancy was joined by Sean Moore from the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship and Ron Busby, Sr., President & CEO of U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. The conversation was moderated by William Kitay of American Chamber of Commerce in Canada (AmCham Canada). We would like to thank Small Business Roundtable for making space for our community of entrepreneurs to be represented in these critical conversations that impact the entire Canadian business landscape. #EX24Canada #CanWCC #EconomicEquity

#entrepreneurship takes center stage in #Toronto as Small Business Roundtable hosts #EX24 spotlighting the future of the North American commerce. The annual convening is the leading dialogue between government, advocates and entrepreneurs to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing small businesses around the world. Facts: the North American trading bloc is an unmatched economic force powered by entrepreneurship: more than $7 trillion in GDP from more than 40 million small business owners employing half of the entire continent's workforce! EX24 is an event to grow that impact, make it resilient and tackle the opportunities of tomorrow. Thanks to my incredible colleagues, co-founder Rhett Buttle and the more than two dozen organizations that made this week possible.
