As we conclude Women’s History Month, we extend our sincere gratitude to all the women who participated in our 12th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament. This year, we achieved a milestone by having an all-female foursome, a female pair, and a total of 12 female golfers. Johnny Bravo served as the event’s emcee. The 12th Annual Smart Financial Foundation Scholarship Golf Tournament was a resounding success. Held at Sweetwater Country Club Golf Course the event attracted over 25 Corporate Sponsors. A special “Thank You” is extended to our five-year Ace Sponsors, Allied Solutions LLC & Route 66 Extended Warranty! The Scholarship Golf Tournament serves as the primary fundraiser for the Foundation’s scholarship initiatives. This year, the tournament raised over $35,000 through sponsorships and In-Kind Donations. With these funds, the Foundation will be able to make a significant impact on the communities it serves, enabling the educational aspirations of students within the greater Houston area. Since its establishment in 2013, the Smart Financial Foundation has distributed over $300,000 in scholarships to deserving high school seniors.
