Understanding the viruses! Cold and flu season is from October through May. Common colds, the flu, and COVID-19 are viruses spread through airborne droplets, usually through a sneeze or cough. Own It. Keep yourself and others safe! 1. Avoid close contact with others 2. Wear a mask 3. Wash your hands often 4. Cover coughs and sneezes 5. Disinfect high-touch areas 6. Monitor your health daily Fix It. Take the right precautions and consult a doctor! Consult a doctor for medical advice if you start experiencing any flu or cold-like symptoms. Contain (close doors and windows behind you). Extinguish or Evacuate. Fix It. Use P.A.S.S. Pull (pin on the fire extinguisher). Aim (hose at base of the fire). Squeeze (the levers together).
