Our next Open Studio will be Tuesday, Oct 29th from 5:30-7:30 pm CST. Join Teaching Artists Kevin Smith and Phillip Adams to explore how music and collage can combine to create collaborative narrative-based artworks. In this Open Studio, students will create a collaborative music piece using the online platform Soundtrap and create collaged-based visual pieces that both inspire and are inspired by the music made. Open Studios are *free* and open to all SCA students and alumni. 🌟 Snow City Arts Storytime! 🌟 Brian Inman, former Auxiliary Board (AB) Chair and longtime supporter of Snow City Arts was hesitant to sign up for the Hot Chocolate Race—one of the AB’s primary fundraising events—after an unpleasant formative experience with cross country running. However, because of his passion for the organization and mission, and partially due to fellow AB members’ persistent encouragement, Brian signed up, trained, introduced new friends and families to Snow City Arts, and helped the AB exceed its fundraising goal. "Snow City Arts is probably the only organization that could have gotten me to run my first 5K. I was about as opposed to running as one could be, but seeing how excited members of the Auxiliary Board were to run and raise dollars for this organization we all love, I knew I couldn’t sit on the sidelines.
