Knowing when you have enough data to transition your campaign objective to the next stage of your funnel can significantly enhance your campaign’s ROAS. Here’s a breakdown of when to shift your campaign objectives at each stage of the funnel: Top of the Funnel: Brand Awareness Objective: Awareness Goal: Introduce your brand to a broad audience. Metrics to Watch: Impressions, Reach, Video Views. Tip: Utilize engaging video content to capture attention. Aim for around 1,000 impressions to gauge interest before moving to the next stage. Middle of the Funnel: Consideration Objective: Traffic, Engagement, Lead Generation Goal: Drive traffic and foster engagement. Metrics to Watch: Link Clicks, Page Likes, Engagement Rate. Tip: Direct traffic to your website and collect leads. Gather around 500-1,000 interactions or clicks before considering a shift in strategy. Bottom of the Funnel: Conversion Objective: Conversions, Catalog Sales Goal: Turn leads into customers. Metrics to Watch: Add to Cart, Purchase, Checkout Initiation. Tip: Optimize for conversions after achieving about 50 conversions to exit the learning phase. Employ retargeting ads to convert those who have shown interest but haven’t completed a purchase.
