I never leave a SocialMedia.org conference disappointed! I return back to work energized and overwhelmed by all the information I want to take back and use to improve our social media operations. Grateful for the countless connections and conversations this week. As a bonus, I had the pleasure of speaking at this conference about governance around our social media tech stack! #SocialMediaOrg

It was super exciting to join SocialMedia.org for my second Board Meeting over in Chicago this week! It’s always a pleasure having the opportunity to meet so many of my talented (and inspirational!) peers, and to exchange ideas, goals, and sometimes of course, struggles. Here’s myself, John Rocker (who, by the way, hosted a fantastic session on our live stream initiatives) and Carolyn Stacey enjoying ourselves on day ✌️. Until next time!

The Dynatrace Social Squad wrapped another successful SocialMedia.org Board Meeting. I'm awarding bonus points to Kerry, Carolyn, and me for finally slowing down and remembering to take a team photo. Thank you, William, for inviting me to lead a session on livestreaming for BtoB brands! Two days fly by when you can connect with and learn from your peers. There were tremendous discussions covering topics from social care and crisis response to generative AI and advocacy programs, with plenty more in between. If you're curious, executive thought leadership/advocacy is at the top of many of our minds. Kudos to everyone who led a session or discussion, and shout out to everyone for attending, being present, listening, and sharing your knowledge. From formal sessions to spur-of-the-moment riverwalks, every conversation I had was impactful. Now, when you get a group of social media people together, there will be many memorable quotes, but my favorite was, "Talk like humans, think like customers." Excellent mindset to operate by, and yes, print the stickers! #SocialMedia #DynatraceLife

And that’s a wrap on the SocialMedia.org Fall Board meeting in Chicago! Made so many wonderful new connections, while also catching up with tons of familiar faces. And my dress matched the palm tree theme of the restaurant, so it was an all-around win. #SocialMediaorg
