Did you know that there are 2 types of cholesterol? Low-density lipoproteins (LDLs) is known as “bad” cholesterol because it can build up and form plaques in your blood vessels, increasing your risk for heart disease. High-density lipoproteins (HDLs) is called “good” cholesterol because it transports cholesterol back to your liver, which is then excreted from your body. #NationalCholesterolEducationMonth
