We are happy to announce Miguel (Mike) Asuaje has joined SOS Sand Technology as the Engineering and Product Development Manager. Mike comes to us with a deep background in Multiphase Fluid Dynamics. He has a PhD. (with highest honors) from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers in Paris. His M.Sc. (with distinction) is in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in multiphase flow from Simón Bolívar University, Caracas, Venezuela. His background includes many published articles in technical journals, peer reviewed SPE papers and others. He has been a guest speaker in China, Italy, France and other countries on multiphase flow, CFD analysis and analysis of complex fluid flows. Mike is in the final stages of publishing his book “Transportation of Hydrocarbons in Production Systems” - "Transporte de Hidrocarburos, en los Sistemas de Producción". We are happy to have Mike as part of our team and look forward to his contributions to the BBS™ Solids Management System and beyond!
