At 19, I was simply looking for a job that could improve my financial situation and, with some luck, fund my long-dreamed surf trips. And I was way more fortunate than my better expectations. What I found at OneSubsea (Aker Solutions) was much more—a career, a community, and a lifetime of experiences. This January, I celebrated 15 official years with this amazing company! Including my time as a third-party contractor, I have dedicated almost 17 years to the organization so far. From the very beginning, I felt a deep connection with the company's culture and values. That feeling to work not just with colleagues, but friends. By right, many of my best friends today are from OneSubsea, and these connections have transcended borders. I am grateful to have good friends all over the world. The company has supported me in achieving a level of professional and personal growth that my younger self could never have imagined. Over the years, I have been fortunate to receive numerous opportunities and challenges. I have shifted my career four times within the organization, gaining diverse perspectives from mechanical and technical roles to digital, cultural, and people-focused positions. I even had the unique experience of witnessing offshore operations firsthand, which was truly fantastic. While there is still much to learn, I already feel a sense of professional fulfillment. I have also witnessed the company's gigantic development, becoming undoubtedly one of the best in the world, and I hope I have contributed to that growth in some way. I have had the privilege of visiting almost every continent (with Oceania on my list for next year), including countries like Malaysia, Norway, Angola, Scotland, England, and the US. I am also grateful for the company's support in helping me realize many of my personal dreams. OneSubsea has made me a better person, both professionally and personally. I have found inspiring leaders and mentors including Halvor Prestmoen, Ryan Russell, Guilherme Fadel Cury, Duarte Trindade, Karon McDonald, Mauricio Araujo, Anderson Moraes, and Amanda Smith. Looking back, I’d say my 19-year-old self would be pretty impressed—turns out, I didn’t just fund a few surf trips, I ended up riding the biggest wave of all: a fulfilling career with incredible people. Thank you, OneSubsea, and here's to the future!

🚀 Accelerating subsea tiebacks in Norway! 🌊 We’re excited to announce that OneSubsea has signed an agreement with Vår Energi to fast-track the delivery of subsea production systems (SPS) for multiple projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. This collaboration strengthens our partnership and enables faster deployment and reduced lead times across Vår’s portfolio through standardized, configurable subsea solutions. By committing to two four-well SPS equipment packages upfront, Vår Energi can streamline project execution and unlock new resources more efficiently. 2024 was a year to remember at OneSubsea! 🌟 🌎 During the last year we hit some major sustainability milestones. By adopting green energy tariffs and upgrading facilities for energy efficiency, we reduced our scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions by over 3,500 tons of CO2. We are all excited by these early sustainability successes, many of which were recognized externally by both customers and regulators across the globe. What a great expression of our core value of caring deeply, and this all certainly serves to drive energy behind our net zero journey ahead. Alongside this, we continued to expand the frontiers of subsea technology by learning together, investing in new technology development and implementing new solutions. Some highlights include our new Oscilay manufacturing methodology, our first 20k SPS delivery, the Ormen Lange compression stations and introduction of the umbilical-less SWIFT service. 🌊But, above all, 2024 has been a year for delivering on exciting projects with partners across the globe, winning awards, attending industry events and continuing to push together for a sustainable energy future! 🤝A huge thank you to our partners, customers and employees for making the last year possible. Celebrating Success: Dvalin North Project Completion 🎉 We’re excited to announce the successful final delivery of the Dvalin North project with Harbour Energy in Port Klang.
