We love hearing stories like this, thanks for sharing Adam Kuznia!
🚜 What happens when a farmer sprays a nutrient unlocker late in the season—when it’s “too late” to impact yield? 📞 A late-night phone call with a whispering grower answered that question. In July 2024, my buddy Mitch was spraying fungicide on his pinto beans when I handed him a partial jug of Source. “Spray 20 ounces on this field and 20 on another,” I said. I didn’t expect much—it was late in the season, moisture was running out, and dry beans finish fast. 🌧 Then came August rain—too late to save the crop. I figured Mitch had already written Source off as another “snake oil” pitch. Then came that late-night September call. 📞 “Those 20 acres with Source on my pintos…” 😴 “Yeah?” 📞 “300 pounds per acre better than untreated.” 🔥 Holy. Shit. Then another farmer—just 10 miles south—reported the same results. 📊 300 pounds per acre better. 💰 At 30 cents per pound, that’s $75 per acre MORE—AFTER paying for Source. Why such a dramatic response? Dry beans took the worst drought stress last year. They needed help the most. This is what I keep telling people—Source doesn’t just work. It works when everything else fails. 🚜 2025 is shaping up to be a stress test for all of us. The real question is: Are we setting our crops up to handle it? Would love to hear from others—what’s been your experience with nutrient unlockers and plant stress mitigation? #NutrientUnlockers #Farming #Agriculture #PlantHealth #CropYield #FertilizerEfficiency

Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) are vital for row crops, but synthetic fertilizers and modern practices often deplete AMF in conventional soils. Restoring healthy AMF populations can increase nutrient efficiency, promote resilience and improve yields. Enter BLUEPRINT. When paired with SOURCE, the AMF supplied by BLUEPRINT is supercharged, enabling them to boost nutrient and water uptake throughout the season. This powerful combination ensures crops thrive during critical growth stages, maximizing yield and resilience. If you're interested in using BLUEPRINT this year — act soon. Due to popularity and demand we will likely sell out of BLUEPRINT this season. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/grGtSFSD

This month we're celebrating our recent values champion, Alison Earlley! Alison has been with Sound for just under 3 years and serves as our Regional Sales Manager for Western Nebraska, helping educate our Growers and Dealers on soil microbiology and sustainable nutrient solutions. We asked Alison: 🏅 Which of Sound’s core values resonates with you? The value I resonate most with is ownership. Growing up in agriculture, I have a strong connection to farming, ranching, and the people that steward the land for future generations. I am fully committed to owning my relationships and doing the right thing in the region I manage for Sound. The customers I work with are also my friends and neighbors, so I own every relationship I have and represent Sound's products with honesty and a commitment to help leave our land and it's resources better than we received them. 🌱 If you were a plant, what plant would you be? I grew up farming next to my Dad on a certified seed wheat farm in southwest Nebraska, so the plant I would be is hard red winter wheat. It withstands droughts, winter kill, hail, and diseases. It's tough, tenacious and hardy and reminds me of both my Dad and Mom to this day and the qualities they instilled in me growing up. They never gave up and turned their resilience into greatness, like the homemade breads my mom used to make from our home grown hard red winter wheat. 💡 What do you enjoy most about working at Sound? Being on the cusp of bringing positive sustainable change to agriculture. Having the opportunity to educate Growers and Dealers and help them embrace and understand soil microbiology and how we at Sound can partner with them to grow and elevate farm practices. Growing healthier foods and improving our land and water quality inspires my work here. I believe in the Ancient Indian Proverb that says: "We do not inherit the land from our ancestors...We borrow it from our children." Thank you for your many contributions to Sound, Alison! We're lucky to have you on the team. #Agriculture #AgTech #AgCareers #SoundAgriculture

Congratulations to the entire Decibel Bio team on the Series A funding, and we're so excited to follow along and see what you accomplish next!
Congrats to Decibel Bio and on their $12M Series A led by Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Future Ventures, Leaps by Bayer and Syngenta Group Ventures! Here's the press release (https://lnkd.in/gn_guZHB), and great spread in Fast Company as well (lnkd.in/g3pbSNty). Proud to see this top notch team and technology spun out of Sound Agriculture after building the epigenetics platform for the last several years. The additional investment allows Decibel to further accelerate while Sound focuses on becoming the leading biobased crop nutrition company. Part of the rationale was that Travis Bayer and team found a new way to get nucleic acids in the plant via a foliar spray and seed treatment, which enables entirely new and exciting business models for epigenetics. With this there is an even bigger upside than we typically envisioned for pre-plant or in-season treatment for any hybrid to improve drought resistance, increasing crop protection tolerance, yield drag from abiotic stress, etc. All via working within the seed's inherent biology in a non-GMO way. Very excited to see where Decibel takes this and thankful for the work we all did together to get it off the ground!!

Big results. And big opportunities ahead. Sound’s 2024 data is in, and the numbers speak for themselves: ✅ Higher yields: 6-12+ bushels per acre in corn (84% win rate) ✅ Strong synergy: SOURCE® + BLUEPRINT™ results in win rates exceeding 75% in multiple crops ✅ Higher ROI: Growers replacing 25 lbs of nitrogen/phosphorus with SOURCE netted a 3x ROI And we’re expanding! Thiago Bortoli joins as VP & GM of LATAM, leading efforts to bring SOURCE to Argentina and Brazil. 🌎 The future of crop nutrition is here. And we’re just getting started.
