LaTonya Fleming, Scott Brabham and I had the pleasure of visiting the Turn 90 Columbia facility. Turn90 helps returning citizens develop soft skills and a plan for a successful life through cognitive behavior therapy and other support. Terrance Ferrell, Center Director, has turned his life around and now is leading and inspiring others to do the same. He is also a dad and gleefully admits that he is a better dad to his 4 year old son that he was to his 28 year old son. We look forward to supporting their fathers and their efforts to be great dads. An honor to receive a Joy of Fatherhood Month proclamation from the Florence County Council today! Dr. Ford spoke for a few minutes at the end of the meeting to express our thanks for the county's continued emphasis on fathers and families.
